Dharti takes a Bumper Opening at the Box Office. The range is between 90-100% in the morning shows and 100% from there on.
Dharti (2011) has collected 2.65 crores in India beating the 1st week record of the Mel Karade Rabba (2010). This Navaniat Singh directed film has earlier taken a bumper opening and an excellent weekend but eventually saw drops from Monday.

Jimmy Sheirgill’s last release Mel Karade Rabba (2010) is the highest grosser in Punjabi Cinema. Dharti is unlikely to cross the lifetime gross of Mel Karade Rabba (2010). The weekday business of Dharti (2011) is steady but not on par with Mel Karade Rabba (2010) which were exceptional. Nevertheless, Dharti (2011) is set to be the among the top 3 highest grosser of Punjabi Cinema.
