As the petite Soha Ali Khan turns 32, we recap her life in pics�

Soha Ali Khan was born with a silver spoon into the Royal Family of Pataudi to cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore. Her brother is the famous Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. Sister Saba Ali Khan is a jewellery designer.

She attended The British School in New Delhi and Balliol College, Oxford.

With a sure shot at a career in tinsel town because of her obvious royal background, the actress before entering the film industry worked with the Ford Foundation and Citibank. She serves on the advisory board of a new project of the public entrepreneur group, Res Publica.

Recently the actress had modeled for the spring-summer collection of Globus, an Indian chain of boutiques.

During the filming of the phenomenal Rang De Basanti, reports had become romantically involved with her co-star Siddharth Narayan. The actress, however, never gave any confirmation.

Soha embarked upon her career in Bollywood with Dil Maange More in 2004 where she shared screen space with Shahid Kapoor, Ayesha Takia and Tulip Joshi. While the film held some entertainment value, it did not do well at the box-office.

She was next seen in Pyaar Mein Twist where she played Dimple Kapadia’s daughter Riya. The film also starred Rishi Kapoor and did fairly well.

In David Dhawan’s multi-starrer Shaadi No. 1, Soha played the role of a dissatisfied wife whose husband is cheating on her. Her performance in this movie was average.

In the Bengali film Antar Mahal she played the role of a traumatized second wife of a wealthy and oppressive Zamindar who is physically drawn towards a sculptor, Abhishek Bachchan. For her performance in this movie she was critically appreciated and it was evident that the actress had acquired skill over the years.
